Keynote Speakers

Alongside a busy program of seminars Colonel Tim Collins OBE, Kate Adie OBE and James Cracknell OBE will be addressing the crowd of FM professionals. Colonel Tim Collins attracted attention on both sides of the Atlantic for his rousing speech to the troops before going into battle in Iraq. His autobiography, Rules of Engagement, subsequently went straight into the bestseller lists and he is now CEO of a security company. Kate Adie became a household name as BBC Chief News Reporter, covering the Gulf War, the demise of the Soviet Union, the protests in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square and NATO’s campaign in Kosovo. James Cracknell is one of Britain’s greatest ever oarsmen. After victory alongside Redgrave and Pinsent in the coxless four in Sydney, he went on to achieve another Olympic gold in Athens. This year’s inspirational speakers all demonstrate huge ambition in the face of fear.

All are highly trained and experienced in the abseiling techniques needed to work safely and effectively on your windows. Their specialist assailers are trained to IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trading Association) standards and are always supervised by an IRATA Level 3 technician. Revitaglae and taskforce have collaborated on a number of notable construction, FM and infrastructure projects, most recently for the canopy repair on a number of DLR stations.
